Back 2 School

It's back to school for me tomorrow! I am teaching through net week for one of our first grade teachers on maternity leave. I am actually pretty excited about it....all the more reason to go back to school and get me teaching degree I think, don't you? Preston & I went to back to school night earlier and it was fun. He is feeling better, but still really tired, so he didn't have a lot of energy. He did get to see a couple of friends though and find out that he will have more boys in his afternoon class this year. Later in the evening he did tell me that he wished pre-school started tomorrow (they start the 25th). I am glad he has a few more days to get caught up on his sleep!

In the spirit of B2S, I found these cute teacher gifts. They would apply to other things besides back 2 school, but keep this in your memory so you too can brown nose next year!

I also have bad news to report about the Vue. Jeremy came home today and told me that I would be getting my car back today and I let out a very loud, enthusiastic WOOOHOOO! He went down to write the check and make arrangements to pick it up. I was busy getting ready to go to the school when he comes back in and says "You won't be getting your car back for awhile." WHAT???? Apparently there is some sort of problem with the sensor that detects the coolant level and it will most likely have to be shipped to a Saturn dealer to be fixed! Can you imagine how long this is going to take? I am panicing, because I am afraid I am going to be driving the hunting wagon forEVER! So, while Preston is feeling better (and for that I am grateful) there is still more bad news coming my direction. And, Megan....what I said earlier about things have to turn around at some point...today is not that day!
