SO, let's start with the school carnival last Saturday. Since Preston is in Kindergarten this year, we were asked to help work the BINGO booth, to bring a bottle of pop, an arts and crafts item and a recipe {which I forgot! OOPS!!}.

We started the evening by working our 30 minute shift first and then getting to go play all the games. There were a TON of different things for the kids to choose from. Preston couldn't wait to play the ring toss, because he was just absolutely certain he would bring home a bottle of pop. It took a few tries, but he eventually got one!! WOOHOO!

Train rides outside were fun, but a little chilly!!

This particular game was another one where you could win a can of pop. For three tickets you got three chances to throw a football through a tire. If you were a big kid the tire was swinging, but for these little guys the tire was still. Preston went first and made 1 out of 3. He moved on to another game, which was good thing, because his little sister stepped up and got 2 out of 3!!!

A little putt-putt golf!!
We had a fun time and can't wait to go again next year!

This is the one kind of carnival that we always come home with more than we sent!! (UUMMM soda-wise--the gift baskets are another story!) They have been a lot of fun though--unless you end up working a hundred shifts because no one else shows up--just wait till you have 3 kids in SCES/SCMS at once--whoosh, hit hard!!
Oh my gosh! I can remember school carnivals from when I was a kid. All that fun flavored pop looks so tasty! Glad you all had a blast!
Thanks for sharing - looks like a lot of fun!
