Last Week as City Slickers

During our last week as city slickers the weather was unseasonably warm. One evening driving home from school I just couldn't help but offer to take the kids to the park when we got to town. Of course, they were so happy they couldn't stand the LONG drive home!! I changed my clothes quickly, packed up some snacks and off to the park we headed.

AJ kept telling me how strong her upper body was getting from her gymnastics lesson...I believe her now!

Preston was too busy playing with all his friends who were there. And trying to hide from me and my camera. I managed to get a couple of pictures of him.

That one just cracks me up!

Before the night was over, guess who showed up?! Yep, Papa Jene and his motorcycle!! No spring or summer night is complete without a bike ride!

Westynn is still too little. I won't let him ride....but he would if I would just say the word!

I have to admit that living so close to the park is definitely one thing I am going to miss about being in town! However, there are plenty of things for the kids to do out here and LOTS of ways for them to get into trouble!
