About 2 1/2 cups macaroni
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
8 oz mozzarella cheese
1 package pepperoni
Not pictured:
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped

Saute the onion and green pepper in a little bit of olive oil, until tender. Mine got a litte over-done here, but that's okay, just go with it.

Cook your macaroni according to the package directions until al dente. It will finish cooking later in the oven. Drain and add to large mixing bowl.

Cut the pepperoni into small pieces and add to the mixing bowl with the macaroni.

Add the ground beef and pepper and onion mixture to the mixing bowl as well.

Pour the pasta sauce into the bowl and add a palmful of garlic salt and italian seasoning if you desire.

Mix all ingredients together well. I added about a fourth a cup of v-8 juice to mine at this point. It looked like it needed a little more liquid and I had the v-8 in the fridge already.

Transfer to a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake in a 350-375 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

While it's baking, go ahead and shred your cheese. Or you could purchase the already shredded kind, but I like to do this myself.

Remove the cavatini from the oven, uncover and sprinkle the cheese on top. Return to the oven for about 10 more minutes or until cheese melts.

If you can stand it, let it set for about 5 minutes. Otherwise spoon onto the plates of your salivating family members and enjoy!

These rolls by the way are DELICIOUS and so easy to make. They are a recipe from a friend that I just tried over the weekend. I WILL share this with you soon!
