Okay, time for a shameless, selfish plug!!
Many of you know I have become enamored with Aprons in the last year or so. It all started one year ago when I went about making a Princess apron for Cambree's 3rd birthday! Then I had to make one for myself and one for a friend's daughter for her 4th birthday. Each apron went over so well and the recipients loved them so much that my passion and sewing adventure began!
Before Christmas I sold over 25 aprons...simply by word of mouth! It was more than I ever could have dreamed and I had an absolutely fantastic time making each and very one of them. The fun begins when I get to pick out the fabrics {then it promptly stops when I have to do all the cutting...my least favorite part, but at least my mom helps me with it!}.
I know a lot of people wonder how I find the time for all of this, but thankfully, Westynn usually takes a good afternoon nap and Cambree loves to craft as much as I do. And if I am lucky, I might have another hour or two in the evening after the kids are all in bed {and J is asleep in the chair!!}.
Anways, I have been trying to decide on the best way to market and sell my aprons. After a lot of thought I have decided that I am going to list them in my sidebar with the option to Buy Now through Paypal. This will allow anyone access to them and all it requires is a bit of my time to load them. However, I don't want my sidebar to get too overloaded, so I will also be adding them to my Etsy shop. I don't know if this is the ideal way to handle this, but I decided to just go for it and see how it works. It can always be changed later if need be!
If you are a local and would like to pick up an apron, I will refund the $3.50 shipping charge. I will be adding some clutches and pins in the next couple of days as well. Be sure to check the Etsy shop too.
Thank you so much to all of you who have purchased an apron, for yourself or to give as a gift. You are all so important to me and the support shown has been overwhelming. I have a lot of peace about this venture and it is feeding my creativity in a BIG way!
So check out the sidebar goodies and go to the Etsy shop!
