We Moved!

If you're like me, you were beginning to wonder if this was ever going to  be a reality!  Lucky for us, we managed to just barely squeak by and finish up the major stuff on Friday and were able to move last Saturday.  That was always my ultimate goal and Jeremy kept assuring me that it "won't be a problem."  HA!  I don't think he realized it was going to be that close!

We have the majority of our boxes unpacked, but there is still a lot of "fluffing" and "settling" yet to do.  Some things have found their permanent home, while other things are still hanging out in limbo just waiting for the perfect spot.  I am anxious to get some stuff hung on the walls so it feels more like home, but Jeremy is in no hurry to mess up his clean, shiny new walls, so who knows when I will get that done.

As you look down through our pictures, please just remember that today is only DAY 7 here and that we have accomplished so much but have much still to do!  It is my hope that once things are completely finished that I will find the time and energy to do a Home Tour here on the blog.  Room by room.  Showing you all the things that I love about each room and maybe even sharing a little background story....'cause every room has one!

SO there you have it....our life one week after we moved in! It's by no means perfect, but that's okay with me. It wouldn't be much fun to get everything done at once would it? Well I don't think it would. I like the thought of our home evolving over time. We have spent so much time and energy in the past 18 months making sure that we made the right decisions that I am ready to just LIVE here for awhile and see how it feels! So far, so good!
