Sometimes there is something very therapeutic about getting a couple of Pyrex bowls dirty, breaking out the cute spoons and whisks and making something involving chocolate! Last night was the culmanation of "one of those days" and once I had the dinner dishes cleaned up I did what I do when I need to relax.

I baked.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars.

I used white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

They were sinfully delicious. I can't even begin to describe how perfect they were warm from the oven.....sigh! I might have even taken one to the bath with me and really savored it while I soaked the worries of the day away!

I will share the recipe in another post because it is super easy and super delicious.

But, I don't think it is near as good if you don't use vintage Pyrex to mix them in....just saying!

I sent you a text today, but united is sending my texts into the unknown, so I don't know if you got it. I wound a bobbin, threaded my machine AND started AND finished a Christmas project today!! Theres something very relaxing about the hum of a sewing machine. I love it.
