Christmas Questions ~ Day 21

Christmas Cards...do you send them?  Do you keep the ones you receive from year to year?

Yes I send them.  In years past I've sent a photo card with a letter detailing the events of the last year for each of us.  But this year it was just a photo card....I figure with my blog and other social media, if you don't know what's going on in our lives you probably aren't that interested anyways!  Besides, Christmas shouldn't be stressful and sometimes that whole card thing is just another big pain on my to-do list!

Some years I've kept the cards...others I haven't.  That used to bother me, but I'm okay with it.  I keep the photos from year to year.  For the last couple of years I have had CJ punch holes in the cards and we've kept them on binder rings.  I store them with my Christmas decor and then we lay them out when we decorate.  But, you know, we haven't looked at those past cards one time since we got them out....maybe it's time to just let this tradition go????

Last year was the first year in my life that I did not send cards...I was lazy...a few years ago I quit writing a letter because some of the family made huge fun of it...and of course I took it personally cause I always throw my heart into it...then ...now...they MISS my update...so this year I included a letter...I LOVE TO GET THEM ESPECIALLY WITH A PHOTO....we get very little mail so I appreciate the effort that is involved with the buying, signing, mailing and the expense of postage...so I look at them as a gift....and who does NOT like to receive a gift. Send them and So will I...I save my old ones for my cousin Shawn she make the greatest ornaments...cuts and folds and they are perfect!!!!

I LOVE to receive cards. And I LOVE to receive 'newsletters' in said cards. I also KEEP the newsletters and photos we receive.

I do NOT however mail any myself.
