A Few of My Favorite Things ~ Beauty & Fashion

I thought it would be fun to mix things up a bit and share with you some of my favorite things.

There are a lot of things that I just don't think I could live without, or at least wouldn't WANT to, so I am going to do this by category.

Today I am going to share with you my favorite BEAUTY and FASHION items!!

1. Olay facial cleansers and moisturizers.

For me, these work the best. I also use a pore minimizing cleansing scrub that's not pictured here {because I dropped it in the shower and it's now quite "right"}. I feel like I get clean skin without lots of extra oil or dryness. Then when I moisturize I just really like the texture and tone of my skin. I have tried other products over the years, but at my current age I keep coming back to these!

2.Suave Professionals Morrocan Infusion and Keratin Infusion.

I just recently started using these new Suave products for my hair, but I am in LOVE!! For my long, very full mane, it makes my hair feel butter soft!! A lot of products tend to dry my hair out and can make it seem on the frizzy side, but these are like butter on a hot roll...so smooth. I promise that even if you don't have long, thick hair you will still like these.

3. Avon Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Black

This stuff also goes on like butter. Smudges just the right amount. Doesn't run when you cry...{recently tested this one out!}. Washes off nicely with eye makeup remover. Sharpens easily. Not much more I can say...LOVE IT!

4. Bella Womens Tri-Blend Tee's

I have 4 of these tee shirts...my other three are v-necks. They are just the right scoop or v. They are the right length. They are not too hot, not too cold. They are the perfect weight. Not sheer. Look good on their own, can be layered. I bought these at Ragtime for you local yocals, but you can find them on the ol' internets as well. Unfortunately they seem to be pretty popular and they only come in a limited number of colors. BUY one {or four}...you can thank me later!

5. Coach Tote

Okay, this was a major splurge for me, but let me just tell you that I got this bag on clearance at Dillards during our girls weekend and I believe that it was divinely ordained. Because, God cares about the mundane things in our lives and he just knew that this bag was meant to be mine!! {Alright, that might be taking it a little far, but it was the best deal I have gotten on anything in ages...so I'm a little prone to emphasizing!!}

If you know me, you know that normally I am a Vera girl, but Melissa had this super cute Coach bag that her children got her for Christmas and I thought it was so awesome that maybe I needed to branch out of my comfort zone a little. Plus, at the time there were no Vera patterns that were really ticklin' my fancy!! Probably my most favorite aspect of this tote is that it is VERY neutral, but yet has pops of color. I haven't had an outfit on yet that I didn't feel great carrying this bag with. It's divine!!

6. Purse Organizer

This is also a recent purchase, but one I think is going to stick around for a good LONG time! It fits just right in the bottom of the Coach tote and keep everything nice and handy. I used to keep everything in several different smaller pouches, but it always seemed like I was looking in the wrong one and they just became a jumbled mess in there. I have taken all those smaller bags out and replaced them with this one organizer. It has a tone of little pockets so all of you essentials have their own little home. And the main comparment is just right for my wallet {still Vera there} and my Martha Steward binder {you'll hear more about this one later.} Oh, and I got this off Amazon for less that $10!!

7. Cute Hats

I LOVE a cute hat...one specially designed with a woman in mind. Now that the sun is shining more and the days are getting longer, you will probably find me sporting these more often. I know hats aren't for everyone, but I sure do LOVE mine!!

8. Vera Bradley Get Carried Away Tote

I got this for Christmas from my in-laws and it is AWESOME!! I had it on my wishlist and honestly thought that Jeremy was going to get it for me. Was a little disappointed when he didn't and was a LOT shocked when I opened it later at the ranch!! IT'S HUGE!! This is no ordinary tote bag. It's designed for travel. And while I don't necessarily travel all that much, this bag is perfect for an overnight trip or when I need to haul a bunch of different things to town. Even though I switched to a different bag for my everyday use for now, I still {HEART} Vera Bradley!!

So, there you go. A few of my favorite things!!

I LOVE hats..but look like a fat ugly man when I wear them!! I'll have to look for that shampoo and give it a try.

This was fun, Sara - thanks for sharing! I really like Oil of Olay, too.

I have turned into a layered shirt FREAK!! I will have to check out those shirts. .it is hard to find ones that are just the right length, cause I don't do too short anymore!! And I get sick of pulling them down. Fun post!
